Did you know that I’ve been self-employed since 2005?  That’s over 15 years of experience, 5 years of which have been in Serious Laughter.  During all of those 15 years I’ve not grown with expertise massively until the start of the Pandemic of 2020.

Luckily, I love technology and am constantly amazed by designers of software.  They are clever, aren’t they?  They’re also very creative people.  Are you creative?

Reflecting on the past 2 years…I’ve networked with hundreds of people over the past 2 years.  All online.  What has that taught me and what has it got to do with Laughter Yoga?

Meeting such a diverse wide range of networkers, I’ve the confidence to speak to anyone.  I’ve the emotional intelligence to work out how they are feeling (very useful).   However it can be very dry networking – so I also have the humour and passion to encourage them to smile and laugh.  Somehow, some way it always happens!

How can I help these professionals?

To think differently.  To be authentic.  To listen carefully.  To help them in their business with my creativity.  Plus smiling or laughing they feel relaxed, de-stressed and think clearly to chat to other networkers.  Hopefully a great ripple effect!

My experience of being creative in a business sense – so recently I offered my past clients Laughter Yoga workshops (to beat the winter blues and boost immunity) – and – guess what – I also had to think differently too.

I thought quickly of something new and creatively (thanks to my Laughter Yoga practice) and decided to offer Bollywood Laughter Dance too – they accepted!

So it’s good to… think differently.  Be authentic.  Listen carefully.  Be creative.
