1st May 2022 is World Laughter Day – an annual event on the first Sunday in May – it’s not “just” laughter as in a giggle – it’s deep belly laughter.

We all know we feel better after a good laugh, don’t we?

Did you also know that it creates peace – within yourself (the most popular word after a Laughter Yoga sessions is “calm”) – and peace in social situations, communities, work.

There are many health benefits to the deep-rooted kind of laughter including the release of positive chemicals, lowering stress levels, releasing natural painkillers, boosting your immune system, improving heart health, lowering blood pressure, and being a great social connection wellbeing tool.  See our other blog on 12 Amazing  Benefits of Laughter Yoga.

Knowing that intentional laughter and deep breathing (Laughter Yoga) is so good for us all, it’s definitely worth trying a session isn’t it?
